Two women and a child were taken to the hospital after being struck by a NICE bus while attempting to cross a street Wednesday morning in Great Neck, Nassau County police said.

One of the women, identified only as a 64-year-old, suffered minor injuries, police said.

The other woman, 34, and the child, a 2-year-old boy, had no apparent injuries but also were taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the Queens-bound N20 bus, which travels between Hicksville and Flushing, had the green light and was making a left turn from Great Neck Road to southbound South Middle Neck Road when the pedestrians were hit by the vehicle's right tire, according to a statement from the Nassau Inter County Express.

The driver, who has been driving buses for 27 years, stopped, according to the bus company.

Police and the bus company are investigating the accident, which happened about 11:30 a.m. No one was charged.
