Thursday's developments in the Schuler case
WIFE DEFENDED. At a news conference, Daniel Schuler disputes autopsy and toxicology results that showed a blood-alcohol level of 0.19, more than twice the legal limit, and high levels of the psychoactive substance in marijuana. "She was not an alcoholic," Schuler says. "I never saw her drunk since the day I met her."
HUSBAND QUOTED. State Police say Daniel Schuler repeatedly told them his wife had no medical conditions.
POLICE REBUFFED. Lawyer Dominic Barbara turns away police investigators who had arrived for a prearranged interview.
AUTOPSY AFFIRMED. The Westchester County medical examiner defends the autopsy results, saying they ruled out conditions such as an aneurysm, stroke, heart attack or diabetes.
