Two charged in Baldwin burglaries, cops say

Two Roosevelt men have been charged in four Baldwin burglaries over eight months, including one Saturday, Nassau County police said.
Bijon George Roberts, 20, of 10 Royal Court, and Eric Amaya, 18, of 87 Smith St., are accused of stealing jewelry and electronics from a house on Linden Avenue and Cramer Court on Sept. 27, and burglarizing a third home on Mayfair Road on Oct. 1, police said.
Roberts is also suspected in the latest burglary Saturday on Stanton Avenue, authorities said. He has been charged with four counts of burglary and Amaya is charged with three burglary counts while both men are charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
They are set to be arraigned Monday in First District Court in Hempstead.
