Two men were arrested in Jericho Wednesday night after officers saw them conducting a drug deal, police said.

Kelvin Pena, 33, of Nagle Avenue, in the Inwood section of Manhattan, and Frank Roman, 31, of Miami, were arrested, Nassau County police said.

Police said officers also confiscated a pound of marijuana -- and more than $5,300.

The incident occurred at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday. Police did not identify the "public location" where they said the transaction took place.

Police said Narcotics / Vice Bureau officers charged Pena with first-degree criminal sale of marijuana and second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, while Roman was charged with second-degree possession of marijuana.

Both men were scheduled for arraignment Thursday in First District Court, Hempstead, police said.
