Nassau police on Monday and early Tuesday arrested two area men they said used stolen credit cards in as many as 12 locations in Westbury and one in Carle Place last month.

Third Squad detectives said Joshua Nembhard, 17, of Queens Street in Westbury and Rodney King, 22, of Broadway in New Cassel, are charged with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property and 13 counts of identity theft.

Nembhard was arraigned on the charges in First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday and King is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.

Their attorneys could not be reached for comment.

Police said they used the credit cards between July 7 and 8 of this year.

Nembhard was arrested at the corner of Magnolia and Prospect Avenues in New Cassel while King was located at his residence, where he surrendered to officers, police said.
