Two men found shot near Oceanside hospital

Police are investigating a shooting that sent two men to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside early Tuesday.
Police said a 911 call reported shots fired at 3:26 a.m. Police said the victims were found in a car on Merrick Road near Oceanside Road on the Rockville Centre-Oceanside border, a few hundred feet from the hospital.
Nassau County police said more details were not immediately known and it was not clear where the shootings occurred. The victims' conditions were also not immediately known.
