Nassau County police are investigating an early-morning robbery Sunday in Inwood in which two men riding a bicycle robbed a man in a parked car.

Police said the theft occurred shortly before 7 a.m. while a 52-year-old male was sitting in his 2008 Cadillac parked in Inwood Park. Two males riding on a black bicycle approached the man and displayed a knife while demanding cash. After the victim complied, the suspects fled riding the bicycle east on Bayview Avenue.

There were no injuries reported.

One suspect is described as being 5-feet-5, 20 to 25 years of age, and wearing dark pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

The other is described as being 5-feet-1, and wearing a black short-sleeved tee shirt.

Detectives asked anyone with information about the robbery to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
