Two people injured in Elmont shooting

Two people were shot late Friday night in Elmont and transported to a local hospital, Nassau police said.

No information was immediately available from police concerning the circumstances surrounding the shooting, or the condition of the injured.

The incident took place on Ludlam Avenue about 10:30 p.m., police said.
