Two rob Oceanside jewelry store

Two men robbed an Oceanside jewelry store Thursday afternoon, getting away with cash and jewelry, Nassau County police said.

No injuries were reported.

Two bandits entered Ritz Jewelers, 3548 Long Beach Rd., and one displayed a handgun to two employees, demanded an unknown amount of cash and stole the jewelry from display cases, police said.

Both suspects fled in an unknown direction, and police responded at 1:20 p.m.
