Two shot in Baldwin, Nassau police say

Nassau County police are investigating a Baldwin shooting in which two persons were shot late Tuesday evening, a department spokeswoman said.

Shots were fired on Washington Place, in a residential area, the spokeswoman said, at about 10:55 p.m.

Two persons were hit and one was hospitalized. No other information regarding injuries was immediately available, the spokeswoman said. Police were still at the scene early Wednesday, she said.
