Two sought in Farmingdale holdup
Police are searching for two men they said robbed a gas station in Farmingdale early Thursday morning.
The robbery took place at the Formula gas station on Fulton Street at about 3:30 a.m.
Nassau County police said one man wore a dark, hooded sweatshirt and gloves, while the other wore a red handkerchief that covered his face.
The first man ordered the station attendant, 22, to put up his hands and turn around, police said. Police said the robber acted like he was armed with a gun.
The second man took cash and cigarettes, police said.
The two were last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
No one was injured.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the crime to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
