Two sought in gunpoint robbery in Roosevelt, cops say
Police are searching for two suspects who robbed two men at gunpoint Monday night in Roosevelt, stealing a wallet, cash and a cellphone.
The robbery took place at the corner of Brookside Avenue and Alhambra Road at 10:55 p.m., Nassau County police said. Police said there were no reported injuries.
The victims were identified as two men, ages 21 and 25.
Police said they were approached by two other men, one wearing a bandanna, the other a mask, who displayed a silver handgun -- and demanded they empty their pockets.
Police said both suspects wore dark-colored sweatshirts and dark sweatpants.
