Two sought in Roosevelt gunpoint robbery
Two men, one armed with a silver handgun, robbed two men on a street in Roosevelt on Wednesday night, police said.
The robbery was at 10:30 p.m. on West Raymond Avenue near Pennsylvania Avenue, police said. Police said the two robbers approached the two victims, ages 20 and 22, and demanded they empty their pockets. They stole a cellphone and a wallet containing identification and credit cards.
The two robbers then fled onto Brookside Avenue. No one was injured.
