Two sought in theft of iPad, handbag in Manhasset

Nassau County police are asking for the public's help in finding a man and a woman who they say stole a woman's belongings on Nov. 9 in Manhasset.
The two were in the cafe section of the Barnes & Noble bookstore at 1542 Northern Blvd. when they were suspected of taking a woman's handbag, an Apple iPad and cash, police said.
Thursday, officials released photos of the two. The man was pictured light tan pants and a dark T-shirt with large wings on front. The woman was wearing a black-and-white striped shirt and a black sweater.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers can remain anonymous.
