Two westbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway in Nassau County were closed nearly four hours Monday for lawn maintenance, police said.

Nassau County police announced in a traffic advisory that the right and center lanes between Exits 35 and 38 were closed shortly before 9:30 a.m.

Normal traffic resumed at about 1:20 p.m., police said.
