Cops: Firefighters battling Uniondale blaze

Firefighters in Uniondale were battling a blaze Friday night that displaced the residence’s occupants but caused no injuries, Nassau police said.

The fire on Greengrove Avenue was reported at 8:46 p.m. and is believed to have originated in the garage attached to the house, but no cause for the fire had been identified late Friday night, police said.
