A motorcyclist was killed in a collision Wednesday night in Uniondale, Nassau police said.

The motorcyclist, a 46-year-old man, was riding a 20212 Kawasaki motorcycle when he and a 1999 Acura four-door sedan collided at the intersection of Front and Chester streets around 7:30 p.m., police said.

The motorcyclist, who was not identified, was seriously injured. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The sedan driver remained at the scene and was not hurt, police said.
