Uniondale phone store robbed at gunpoint

A Smart Talk Phones store in Uniondale was robbed at gunpoint by two men Friday afternoon, police said.

Two men, one armed with a handgun, confronted an employee at the store at 933 Nassau Rd., about 3:30 p.m., police said, and forced the employee to the rear of the store.

The two men then took goods and cash from the store and ran away, police said.

No one was reported injured, police said.
