Fifth Squad detectives are looking for a man who robbed a Valley Stream restaurant Friday at gunpoint, threatening to shoot the manager in the foot, Nassau police said.

Police said the suspect entered the Bronx BBQ, at 694 W. Sunrise Hwy., at about 3 a.m., brandishing a silver firearm and demanding money.

The man threatened to shoot the restaurant's manager in the foot and discharged a round into the floor, police said.

The suspect took an unknown amount of cash, fled through a rear door and left in a black car, heading west on Sunrise Highway.

Police said there were no injuries.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers, 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
