Wantagh man faces child porn charges

A Wantagh man was arrested Wednesday morning on child pornography charges, Nassau police said.

Mark E. Samet, 54, of 18 Western Lane, will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead on 28 counts of possessing a sexual performance by child, police said.

Samet was arrested at 8:15 a.m. after a joint investigation involving the Nassau Police Crimes Against Property Squad and the Suffolk police Computer Crimes Unit.
