A Wantagh man sold undisclosed amounts of marijuana twice Monday, then tried to run away from officers of a special task force after a traffic stop, Nassau County police said.

Donald J. Hollman, 31, of 1070 Seamans Neck Rd., was seen twice selling marijuana before 3 p.m. by officers of the Critical Incident Rapid Response Team Task Force, police said. He was then stopped driving on Daffodil Lane, police said, and was chased on foot and arrested.

When searching Hollman's house -- which he had consented to, police said -- officers found more than 8 ounces of marijuana, a bottle of concentrated cannabis, more than $1,500 of assorted fireworks, a switchblade knife and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Hollman faces two counts of criminal sale of marijuana, three counts of criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawfully dealing with fireworks and dangerous fireworks and explosives.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
