Crash shuts part of Wantagh State Parkway, say cops

A serious crash that left at least one person injured shut down part of the Wantagh State Parkway by the New Cassel-Hicksville border, State Police said Friday night.

Southbound lanes remained closed near Exit W2, Old Country Road as of midnight, due to an accident that happened shortly after 7:45 p.m., State Police said.
