Nassau police and their Crime Stoppers department are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a Lawrence bank.

Police say that at 10:47 a.m. on Jan. 24, the suspect entered the Bank of America at 400 Central Ave. and handed a note to a teller demanding money.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at its toll-free and confidential hotline: 800-244-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers offers up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Suffolk police and their Crime Stoppers department are looking for a man who allegedly stole a pocketbook from a locked car in South Huntington.

Police say that at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 16, the suspect broke the driver-side rear window of a silver 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe and stole the victim's pocketbook from inside the vehicle. The suspect allegedly later used one of the victim's credit cards to make purchases of about $1,200 at the Game Stop at 159 Route 110.
