At 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 24, four males and four females entered Krupa Jewelry Store at 119 Broadway, according to police.

Police say that several of the suspects distracted the store employees while one of female suspects accessed the store's safe area. Police say an undisclosed amount of jewelry was stolen.

The suspects left in two minivans going north on Broadway.

Police say that at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 5, Ludwin Pereira, 32, entered El Ray, a convenience store at 325 Merritt Ave., Wyandanch, and walked to the rear of the store where several men were playing pool.

According to police, Pereira approached one of the men and engaged him in a brief conversation. Pereira then took a large knife out from under his sweatshirt, stabbed the victim in the side and severely wounded him before leaving the store.

Police say that Ludwin Pereira is also known as "Luis" or Ludwin Reyes. His last known address is on South 27th Street in Wyandanch.

Police consider Pereira very dangerous.
