Weather service issues black ice warning

Beware of black ice on the roads Friday morning, the National Weather Service said in a statement warning motorists to drive cautiously.

The service said patches of black ice, where melted snow and water have refrozen, could affect the Friday morning rush hour.

Officials are urging people to drive safely.
