West Hempstead bank robber sought

The Nassau County Robbery Squad is searching for a man who robbed a West Hempstead bank Monday, police said.
Detectives said a man entered the Roslyn Savings Bank at 50 Hempstead Tpke. at about 12:55 p.m. and gave a note demanding cash to the teller.
After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Police said the man wore a black hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap.
