A 74-year-old man died from a single gunshot and a 72-year-old woman was in critical condition after she was shot twice in Westbury on Saturday night, Nassau County police said.
Police responded to a call of a person shot at a home on Waterbury Lane at about 9:40 p.m. They found the woman, who was taken to a hospital for treatment, and the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Nassau police said Sunday. They did not have further details.
