Westbury roads to close for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame event, police say
A few roads around Westbury’s Long Island Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be closed Thursday from about 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. for the hall's induction ceremony, Nassau County police said.
The event, at The Space at Westbury at 250 Post Ave., will shut Post Avenue between Belmont and Maple avenues, police said in a statement Thursday.
Side streets to Post Avenue also will be closed near the venue and only local traffic will be allowed, police said. They advised avoiding the area and finding alternate routes.
