Westbury teen, missing since May 20, back home, police say

A 14-year old girl from Westbury missing since May 20 has returned home, police said Tuesday.

According to detectives, Daisy Mendoza had last been seen May 20 at 12:30 p.m. at Bunkyreid Park at Railroad Avenue and Urban Avenue in Westbury.

Police said in a news release Tuesday evening that she had been located and is “in good condition.”
