A Massapequa woman was struck and killed as she crossed Broadway Wednesday morning, Nassau police said.

At about 11 a.m., Rosalia Raia, 85, was walking east across the street in Massapequa when she was hit by a 1999 Ford driven by an 18-year-old woman, police said.

Raia was pronounced dead at the scene and taken to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, police said.

No criminality was suspected.
