A Farmingdale woman was arrested Tuesday, charged with stealing about $3,000 worth of jewelry from family members over a two-year span, police said.

Ashley B. Lucarello, 27, of 2 Jerome Dr., was charged with third-degree and fourth-degree grand larceny, Nassau County police said. She is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Police said the thefts took place between June 2010 and August of this year, when Lucarello lived in a home in Massapequa. The jewelry belonged to four female members of the household, police said.

Lucarello allegedly stole the items, then sold them.

Police did not immediately provide additional details.
