First Squad detectives are investigating a Uniondale burglary early Tuesday in which three suspects beat a woman and stole two flat-panel televisions, Nassau County police said.

The woman, 60, was staying at her friend's house on Emerson Place when two men and a woman forced their way into the home at about 2 a.m., police said.

The suspects struck the victim "about the head and face," took the two TVs and fled in an unknown direction.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was admitted with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
