Police said they are looking for two robbers, believed to be in their late teens, who attacked a woman on a Cedarhurst street in broad daylight Wednesday, throwing her to the ground -- and stealing her phone.

The robbery took place as the 18-year-old woman was walking along Oxford Road near Westminster Road at 2:50 p.m., Nassau County police said.

Police said one of the robbers grabbed the woman's phone, while the other threw her to the ground. The woman was not injured, police said.

The robbers then fled on foot into the parking lot of the Bay Harbour Mall, police said.

Police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
