Woman slams car into Massapequa Park post office

A woman drove a car into the U.S. Post Office building in Massapequa Park just before noon Tuesday, police said.

Fortunately, Nassau County police said, no one was hurt.

The incident occurred at 11:57 a.m., police said.

The building is located in the Southgate Shopping Center.

No other details were immediately available. It was not clear how much damage resulted from the accident.
