A Bayville man was arrested and charged Tuesday with possession of stolen property after Nassau police said he sold stolen jewelry to a pawnshop.

Zachary Bruscella, 35, sold an unknown amount of stolen jewelry at Smithtown Gold and Diamond pawnshop at 10 W. Cherry St. in Hicksville some time after the jewelry was stolen from a Locust Valley home on Jan. 11, police said.

Second Precinct officers arrested Bruscella, of 75 Perry Ave., at his home Tuesday, police said. He is charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
