Bernie Sanders trumps Donald Trump for the Neil Young vote

When Donald Trump took to the stage at the Trump Tower Tuesday to announce his candidacy for president, the sound system played Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World." According to David Corn at Mother Jones, Young reacted with a statement through his manager Elliot Roberts that the use of the song "was not authorized. Mr. Young is a longtime supporter of Bernie Sanders."
The song came out in 1989, during the first Bush administration.
Some of the lyrics:
"We got a thousand points of light
For the homeless man
We got a kinder, gentler,
Machine gun hand."
Interesting backdrop for a Republican candidate. But look at it this way: They say the late Ed Koch had to be talked out of using "Send in the Clowns" for his first mayoral inaugural.
