Republican

BACKGROUND

  • Ferretti, 43, of Levittown, a registered Republican, is running for his second term after winning the supervisor general election last year. He had been appointed town supervisor on Aug. 5, 2025; he was reappointed on Sept. 16, 2025. He then won the election in November. He had stepped down as a Nassau County legislator during his fourth term to become town supervisor. He is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines.
  • Previously he served as Nassau County chief deputy county clerk from 2010 to 2017 and as an associate trial attorney with the law firm of Nicolini, Paradise, Ferretti & Sabella.

  • He received his undergraduate degree from Hofstra University in history and political science and his law degree from CUNY School of Law.

ISSUES

  • Ferretti said affordability is his top priority and in his first year as supervisor he cut taxes 18% in the general fund, resulting in a $5 million tax cut.
  • Public safety is another issue and he said he worked as a legislator to supply the county police department with what it needed and as supervisor he said he continues "to work hand in hand with our police departments to keep us the safest county in America."
  • He said he's also focusing on maintaining local control of zoning and opposing attempts "to strip local zoning rights from local municipalities."
