- Gonzalez, 62, of Brentwood, is seeking a third term.
- He won his first term in a special election in March 2019 after previously serving as a union president for IBEW Local 1430.
- With over 40 years of experience in the labor movement, Gonzalez has spearheaded many union efforts.
- Gonzalez supports moderate Democratic issues, including the improvement of quality of life, environmental protection, public safety, financial relief, and defense of minorities and our youth.
- His top priorities are bringing resources to financially assist students, seniors and local businesses.
- He continues to be a strong voice for minority groups who are disproportionately represented in our current executive, legislative and judicial systems. They include people with disabilities, senior citizens, ethnic populations, immigrants and LGBTQ.
