Community leaders, including Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy and Senate GOP leader Dean Skelos (R-Rockville Centre), are discussing the key issues facing New York Thursday in a conference sponsored by Newsday, News12 and Hofstra University.
The forum comes on the heels of a new poll that found Long Islanders, more than most across the state, are upset about the state's direction.
The poll also found LIers are somewhat more likely to want to replace their representatives in Congress and the State Legislature.
