1 airlifted after Medford crash

A person was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center on Sunday after sustaining serious injuries in a car crash, Suffolk police said.
The crash occurred in the vicinity of Patchogue Yaphank Road and Woodside Avenue in Medford.
Police blocked off that area of Patchogue Yaphank Road Sunday afternoon.
No other information was immediately available.
