1 dead, several injured in Selden crash; Route 25 closed, police say

One person was killed and three others injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening in Selden, Suffolk County police said.
The crash occurred on Middle Country Road/Route 25 near Adirondack Drive at about 5 p.m., police said.
Police shut down the road between Patchogue-Mount Sinai and Blue Point roads to conduct an investigation.
The injured people were taken by ambulance to nearby hospitals, police said.
