1 seriously hurt in East Shoreham crash
One person with serious injuries was airlifted to a hospital Sunday afternoon after a one-car crash in East Shoreham, Suffolk County police said.
The crash occurred about 1 p.m. on North Country Road near Valentine Road.
Police said one person was taken by helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital, and three others were transported via ambulance. The driver and passengers, whose ages ranged from 16 and 17, all had "non-life threatening" injuries, according to police.
Police are investigating the accident and so far have not pressed any charges, said a police spokeswoman.
