2 arrests in Mastic-Shirley burglary spree
Two men were arrested Saturday and charged in connection with a spree of burglaries in Shirley and Mastic during the past three months, Suffolk police said.
John Trent, 20, of Shirley, and Dontrae Glasco, 18, of Mastic, were arrested after an investigation revealed one or both were responsible for six home burglaries between May and August, police said.
Trent was charged with five counts of second-degree burglary and one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and Glasco was charged with five counts of second-degree burglary.
The two men were scheduled to be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Central Islip.
