Two adults and two infants were recovering at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore Wednesday night after they were overcome by carbon monoxide gas at a Brentwood home, police said.

Police and fire units responded to an emergency call to the house on Broadway at 7:35 p.m., Suffolk police said.

No information was immediately available from authorities about the suspected source of the carbon monoxide gas.
