Southampton Town police arrested two drivers suspected of drunken driving in a 10-minute span Thursday night -- one in Eastport, the other in Water Mill.

Police said Kerrie Lyn Gordon, 47, of Speonk, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated operation of a motor vehicle after being stopped for a traffic infraction at 8:03 p.m. on Montauk Highway in Eastport. Police said Gordon was charged with felony DWI because she has a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years and her license had been suspended because of that conviction.

She was held for arraignment Friday in Southampton Town Justice Court.

The second arrest also occurred on Montauk Highway, police said. Police said Luis Marcos Ortega Pillacela, 37, of North Sea, was stopped at 8:13 p.m. for failure to maintain his travel lane and that, after an investigation, he was charged with misdemeanor DWI. He also faces arraignment Friday in Southampton Town Justice Court.
