3 hurt in E. Farmingdale church van crash

Three people suffered minor injuries when a church van collided with an Audi late Sunday evening in East Farmingdale, Suffolk County police said.
It was not clear if the injured were in the van or car or both. It also was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
The van was being operated by the Spanish Church of God in Brentwood. It was not clear how many people were aboard the van when it crashed.
The accident occurred on Route 109 near Albany Avenue and was reported at 10:21 p.m.
Volunteers from the East Farmingdale Fire Department and the North Lindenhurst Fire Department responded.
No charges were filed.
