Three people were injured, one seriously, after their motorcycles hit a vehicle turning left in Lake Ronkonkoma on Saturday night, Suffolk police said.
The motorcyclists, who were not identified, were riding on Smithtown Boulevard at 11:10 p.m. when they struck a 2000 Nissan that was attempting to make a left turn onto Rosevale Avenue, police said.
One of the motorcyclists, a 27-year-old man riding a 2012 Suzuki, had serious but not life-threatening injuries. The other motorcyclists, riding a 2003 Suzuki, received minor injuries. All three were taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Nissan was not injured and no arrests were made.
