3 lanes of eastbound LIE closed at Sagtikos
A two-car crash shut down a section of the eastbound Long Island Expressway near the Sagtikos State Parkway Tuesday morning, Suffolk police said.
No one was seriously injured in the 7:53 a.m. crash, police said. All lanes, except for the HOV lane, were closed to traffic.
Police said the crash, which involved a Volkswagen and an sport utility vehicle, occurred near exit 53, just west of Wicks Road.
