Three store clerks sold alcohol to minors on Friday during undercover sting operations in Suffolk County, police said.

Seventh Precinct officers used underage "agents" to conduct sting operations at 19 stores that sell alcoholic beverages. Some locations were selected because of complaints from community members, and others were selected at random, police said.

Arrested were Nicholas Ferro, 56, of Mastic, who was working at Village Food Mart in Mastic Beach; Ronald Castellon, 25, of Riverhead, who was working at Ocean Gas in Shirley; and Abdul Nadeem, 50, of Shirley, who was working at Lukoil in Mastic.

Each was charged with unlawful dealing with a child.

Clerks at 16 other locations refused to sell alcohol to the underage customers.
