Cops: 4 arrested at Suffolk sobriety checkpoint
Four motorists were arrested early Saturday at an overnight sobriety checkpoint in Huntington Station, Suffolk County police said.
The arrests came between 1:40 a.m. and 3:40 a.m. at a checkpoint at New York Avenue and Church Street.
Two motorists were charged with driving while intoxicated: David Cava, 42, of Huntington; and Vanessa Loccisano, 27, of Wheatley Heights.
Two motorists were charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol: Joseph Palazzo, 40, of New Hyde Park; and Ariel Shada, 43, of East Patchogue.
All four motorists are scheduled to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.
